Michigan REC Tracking System Launched

The Michigan Renewable Energy Certification System (MIRECS) was launched on October 30, 2009. The tracking system will issue, track, and enable retirement and trading of various types of renewable energy certificates (RECs) for compliance with Michigan's Renewable Energy Standard. The system is managed by APX Inc. and will be integrated with the Midwest Renewable Energy Tracking System (M-RETS) and the North American Renewables Registry.
