DOE Funds Clean Energy Projects on Tribal Lands and Alaska Villages

DOE announced on August 13 its award of up to $13.6 million in multi-year funding for new clean energy projects on tribal lands. In addition to the Alaskan villages, the funding will go to tribes and in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Washington, and Wisconsin. Obama Administration Delivers More than $288 Million for Weatherization Programs in Seven States

DOE delivered more than $288 million in Recovery Act funding on July 6 to expand weatherization assistance programs in Arkansas, Iowa, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, and New Hampshire. The funds will help these states achieve their goal of weatherizing more than 91,000 homes of families earning low incomes. More
